2020 Has been a year of adjustments and finding ways to enjoy the little things at home. So for those of us that leave shopping to the last minute (procrastinators unite!) I’ve compiled a shopping list of things that make that stay at home just a little brighter! Full disclosure, these are on my list to Santa too (if I don’t already own it). I’m pretty sure this list will tell you a lot about me.
Makers of Wax Goods Octagonal Glass Candle These Anthropolgie candles have all my favorite scents and I just can’t chose! I think I might need to take one of each (hint, hint)
Gratitude Journal If I have learned anything from this year it is about being grateful. Giving thanks has put a lot of perspective in my life and I see joy where I once may have only seen frustration. Writing them down helps us acknowledge and reflect on those little mome
Make Life Beautiful Hardcover One of my favorite designers now has a book providing behind the scenes of interior design and some beautifully inspired spaces to book. It’s a joy to read and makes a great coffee table book too!
Bergenia Rattan Breakfast Tray Admit it, we’ve spent more times in bed these past several months than we care to share. Not only have I enjoyed a book and coffee in bed on the occasion, I find myself pulling up my laptop in bed too. This rattan tray is a great way to stay in bed (in style!) and get a little done too.
Let’s Make Art Subscription I couldn’t be more excited about this one! This has been on my list since my birthday and I can’t wait to pull the trigger. The subscription includes a monthly box with all of the tools and materials you need to start your project. I comes complete with tutorials and a video! This would be an amazing gift to the novice or experienced artist in your life!
Corona Ultrasonic Essential Oil Diffuser, Cream I absolutely love my diffuser I got last year and have really enjoyed mixing and experimenting with different scents and aromas. In fact, essential oils have become a bit of an obsession for me. The scented oils can affect our moods and our health! They last for hours and this one is sleek and beautiful.
Rabbit Pro Aerator & Stopper I won’t lie, I have indulged in bottle of wine or two over the last few quarantined months. Okay, who am I kidding, I even started a wine journal. This aerator and stopper not only enhances the flavor of the wine, it let’s you have an excuse for not drinking it all in one sitting.
Chemex 6-Cup Coffeemaker with Wood Collar So, want to know what to do with all that time we’re saving by wearing our pajamas to work? You guessed it, brewing coffee! Want to know a secret? Sometimes I only get out of bed because I want coffee (oh yeah, and my kids). The Chemex is hugely trending right now and rightly so. It delivers a smooth, bright cup of coffee, removing some of the bitterness. I think I even have time for a couple more cups.
GrowLED LED Indoor Garden I got really excited this Spring about growing all of my own herbs. My entire window sill was full of DIY planted seeds. That excitement grew when I started to see the little buds popping up and the kids and I patted ourselves on the back about what a wonderful indoor garden we would have. Then they died. Every. Single. One. Next time, we’re going this route because clearly I need saving from myself. This comes in two different versions – Advanced and Basic, depending on your budget and needs.
L’Occitane Butter Hand Cream A complete MUST HAVE. All that hand washing this year left my hands dry, cracked and even bleeding. This hand cream is the best, hands down (see what I did there).
Faux Fur Throws These faux fur throws are so luxuries. I ordered one last year and everyone fights over it, even the dog! Right now they’re on sale, so don’t wait!
While all of these make fantastic gifts this year they’re also nice to treat ourselves too !
